Advent Calendar

Advent is a time of waiting for the arrival of Christmas. Advent calendars have long helped build excitement and anticipation on the countdown to Christmas, typically revealing a pretty picture or piece of chocolate behind the cardboard door for each December day along the way. This online advent calendar will give you information about how people in different countries celebrate Christmas. Good waiting...!!!

Middle Ages in Britain

The Roman Empire started to be attacked from different places, so the Roman Army could not defend it at all. About AD410 The Roman Emperor ordered the last soldiers in Britain to leave it. The Britons would have to defend themselves as best as they could. New people came to Britain in ships across the North Sea. Historians call them Anglo-Saxons. They occupied part of Britain. Read and learn about them in this Webtask. Finish it at home and give it to your English teacher. You'll be evaluated in two subjects: English and History.

Let's learn about Greece!!!

We are studying Ancient Greece in the History class and a little bit of its culture and traditions in the English class. We are rehearsing Greek plays in English, will sing the Greek anthem in the Music class and dance its typical dance.
But you'll have to do something else:
  1. This quiz . When you finish it, try to copy it and hand it to the teacher.
  2. You'll have to imagine you are a Greek boy or girl, you'll have to invent a family, a job, the place to live, etc and then write a composition. The instructions are HERE . The composition is for BOTH your English teacher and your History teacher. You'll have double mark!!!! Great!!!
